As Volunteers’ Week comes to a close, we’re reflecting on the incredible impact volunteers have had across The White Horse Federation.

This week gives us the opportunity to recognise those who generously give their time, skills and care to support our schools and communities. Their contributions – whether big or small – truly embody our commitment to Inspiring Lives every single day.

At Zouch Academy, we give a big shout out to Mrs Willis who has volunteered and supported in our Reception classes for years. Mrs Willis has been such a great support to the EY children and staff, she listens to readers, plays alongside the children and supports on school trips and visits. Mrs Willis also gets Mr Willis involved with the odd trip too. The children love seeing Mrs Willis, especially at the school discos where she rehydrates the children with plenty of drinks.

Mrs Willis is an absolute superstar who is respected and appreciated by all of the Zouch family for the time and dedication she has given to Zouch for many years.

Also a shout out to Mrs Brown, who has recently started to volunteer at Zouch as she needs experience for her coursework. The children have enjoyed getting to know Mrs Brown and know that she is a safe adult here at Zouch. Mrs Brown has been supporting in our Early Years classrooms too and has been involved with helping the children in both the indoor and outdoor classroom. Mrs Brown has been amazing and we all appreciate her support and time.

We are incredibly grateful to both Mrs Willis and Mrs Brown for the time, energy and enthusiasm they bring to Zouch Academy 💚
