Wrap Around Care

Breakfast Club

Breakfast club is available daily from 7:40 am. Children are provided with a healthy breakfast and drink of their choice to kick start the day. The children are encouraged to be as independent with this as possible to help develop life skills, it is a pleasure to watch the children use their values in practise when helping each other and showing the value of respect and patience.

This is followed by the option to take part in a range of activities including mindful colouring, construction, games. There is always an opportunity for some quiet time in the reading area which is used as a chillout zone. The Breakfast Club is currently being held in the KS1 Hall and at the end of the session, the Breakfast Club staff will take the children to their classes at 8.40 am.

After School Club

To support working parents, we offer an After School Club too. You can book your children into After School Club which includes the end of school day until 5:15 pm. All children will be provided with a small snack on arrival, such as a rice cake and/or a piece of fruit. There will be a range of activities (indoors and outdoors weather permitting) and/or toys for your children to engage with and this is a great opportunity where children can communicate and play with friends from other classes. Children who prefer to have space and quiet time can relax in the reading area.

The After School Club is open every school day apart from the final Friday of the term when there is no After School Club.

For further details about booking your child’s place at one of our Breakfast Club or After School Club sessions, please contact the school office and they will be happy to assist you.
