Our Art curriculum encourages children to be creative, curious and confident. They explore the work of a range of artists from different times and cultures, while developing their own practical skills using a variety of materials, tools and techniques. Children learn to express their ideas, evaluate artwork and discuss elements of art using appropriate vocabulary.

Celebrating Art Throughout the Year

We believe that art is a wonderful way for children to explore, celebrate and reflect on important events and themes throughout the year. Children take part in creative projects linked to occasions such as Remembrance, Month of the Military Child, seasonal celebrations and other significant events. These opportunities allow children to express their ideas and emotions through art, explore different styles and techniques, and understand how art can be used to remember, celebrate and bring communities together.
