At the end of last term, we were incredibly lucky to receive a surprise visit from Father Christmas! Mrs Johnson, the headteacher, received a mystery call asking for all the children to assemble on our school field and await the surprise guest. After an agonising 10 minute wait, the children were amazed to see the appearance of a helicopter with Father Christmas inside circling the school before watching it land right in front of them to a chorus of cheers and screams. Once Santa had jumped out of the helicopter he spent time meeting each child and wishing them a Merry Christmas before been whisked off to carry on the Christmas preparations.

This was such a wonderful experience for the children and staff and we were delighted at how much the children enjoyed it. We would like to extend our immense gratitude to all of those involved in organising the visit, especially the Army Air Corps and Jordan Wylie.
