Zouch Academy Receives Recognition for Online Safety Work

Zouch Primary School has become one of a small number of schools across the UK to achieve the reputable Online Safety Mark accolade. Presented by South West Grid for Learning, the award recognises the high standard of our school’s online safety policies and procedures.

The safety and security of our children is of paramount importance to us, and we understand that preparing them to use the internet safely is a crucial part of this.

Zouch’s online safety programme is led by Jodie Edgley, our Computing Coordinator. Reacting to news of the award, Jodie said: “It is becoming increasingly common for young children to use the internet, and it is crucial that they understand how to stay safe.

We’ve put a lot of work into teaching our pupils how to remain safe online, and we are so proud that our efforts have been rewarded by receiving the Online Safety Mark.
